Description:

This unit looks at issues and approaches in coastal management. It includes the human aspects of development and utilisation of the coastal zone, and the methods of management which have been, and continue to be developed. While much of the spatial focus is on Australia, the global nature of coastal management and comparative studies of other systems are also studied.
