PPA1120 ECS First Professional Practice

Description:
This distributed practicum in a child care centre provides student teachers with opportunities to observe the growth, behaviour and development of children in the first three years of life within the child care context over a period of approximately 7 weeks. Student teachers also have the opportunity to start to put current best theory into practice. The distributed practicum allows the student teacher to reflect upon their role as a primary care-giver and to develop observational skills needed for future professional practices.
