| Students will be introduced to the following music software programs: Max/MSP, VideoDelic, GRM Tools, and various algorithmic composition programs. Theses programs are selected for their creative possibilities, sound manipulation, and, professional acceptance and opportunities. This unit covers the major features, technical and creative possibilities, as well as, each program’s unique feature or purpose. Students will use the technical skills and creative options available within the various programs to compose music, particularly when using MAX/MSP. Full Unit Outline | |||
