Description:
This unit will provide an introduction to wine, including sensory perception, wine styles, wine faults and the wines resulting from different grape varieties. It examines how grapes are grown and the processes in winemaking - with the resulting impact on the style of wine. It also considers specific wine styles, including sparkling, fortified and dessert wines – and examines Australian wine regions.
