Description:
This unit aims to provide non-IT professionals with an understanding of the major issues facing managers in the effective use of Information Technology in contemporary organisations. In particular, you will consider the reasons why so many executives today question the rate of return on IT investments. To understand why this is the case, and to understand how the situation can be improved, a number of challenges will be discussed, such as that of ensuring that investments in IT are aligned with business goals and objectives.
