LAN4171 Literacy across the Curriculum

Description:

This unit provides teachers with an understanding of the variety of literacy demands faced by students in all subject areas. It examines ways in which teachers can help students cope with those demands. In the Bachelor of Education (One Year Conversion) this unit may be included as a curriculum unit in any specialism. Exemption from part of the unit is available for teachers who submit a statement certifying that they have completed the Education Department of Western Australia's Stepping Out program.
