This unit aims to introduce students to the curriculum and teaching methods appropriate to the learning area of Technology and Enterprise in the secondary school. It includes a review of the current curriculum development in Technology and Enterprise, with particular emphasis on problem solving within the context of the Technology Process and related aspects of assessment. Consideration will be given to the increasing emphasis on 'enterprise' and the opportunities to incorporate vocational programs into the Technology and Enterprise curriculum. Attention will also be given to developing competency in keyboard use and teaching philosophy associated with keyboard mastery. | |||
