INT3400 Interpreting and Translating: Theory and Practice
SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARTS

Prerequisites:
Two second year advanced level units in French, Italian, Japanese or Spanish
 
Description:
This third year unit explains the principles and concepts of translation theory and introduces students to the practical skills of interpreting/translating. These skills will be consolidated in weekly interpreting/translating seminars conducted in the individual language(s) studied by students.
