MNH1010 Foundational Studies in Mental Health Practice

Description:

This unit is designed to introduce students to the competencies required of persons working in mental heath settings. Students will gain an understanding of their role as mental health professionals and how this relates to facilitating the recovery of persons who have experienced a mental illness. This unit examines a number of models and frameworks of recovery and their implications for mental health practice.
