Philosophy of social science is a study of the nature, aims and methods of the social sciences. The social sciences include all systematic attempts to understand society, culture, history, religion and their relation to the self. This unit is an introduction to contemporary philosophy of social science emphasising the role of social science in a world of cultural conflict. | |||
