Description:

This unit is the second of two in a series which requires students to produce an industry based honours research dissertation.  The purpose of the unit is to train students in the use of research methods and its application to a research question or problem related to industry.  Students are required to produce a critical review of the literature in their field of study and identify a research topic.  Appropriate research methodologies are then applied to obtain data and information which is reported in findings.  By the end of this unit, students will have completed the writing of their dissertation.
