This introductory unit examines the role of drama and music in the development of children in the primary years. Appropriate dramatic and musical experiences, which incorporate the diverse needs of children in various educational settings, are studied. Through practical workshops, use of contemporary technologies and workplace experiences, opportunities are provided for students to develop dramatic and musical knowledge and skills.
