This unit introduces students to the growing area of usability in business web site design. Students will be exposed to the various aspects of usability and the usability lifecycle in web design, including accessibility and diversity. Students will cover pervasive usability by studying human behaviour and experience, user requirements, conceptual design, and evaluation. They will undertake analyses of a number of websites using proven usability methodologies.
