ISM5106 Discourse and Governance
CENTRE FOR INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH (KURONGKURL KATITJIN)

Description:

This unit examines new understandings of liberal democratic governance that draw on recent changes in social theory. With a focus on Indigenous Australian issues, the unit explores governance as a project in constructing self-governing citizens. Students will have the opportunity to explore the theoretical sources of this new understanding of governance as well as its practical application in specific Indigenous settings.
