The Master of Professional Communications (Media Studies) allows students to examine the ways in which the Media are organised, the social position and power they have and the ways they communicate to audiences. It also introduces students to a significant range of contemporary theoretical and critical approaches used to analyse media texts, media technologies and their position in the world today. It trains students to think critically and to communicate effectively, and to research and write a project.
